CPE Training

CPAConnect offers its members comprehensive training for NASBA-approved CPE credit. We provide levelized technical training in A&A and tax, and soft-side skill training, which includes partner development workshops and supervisor training. We offer more than 75 hours of the highest quality live CPE to cultivate continuous improvement among member firms.

Our members design and fine-tune our CPE training course materials, and all courses are updated regularly. Instructors selected to teach the courses consistenly rate high for their knowledge and presentation skills. NASBA-approved webcasts are also available for members to receive training from the comfort of their own office.

CPAConnect and CPAmerica’s training opportunities have been called “the best available in the nation for firms our size.” The live training classes are held annually, rotating to desirable destinations around the country.

Webcasts

CPAmerica/CPAConnect webcasts bring some of the nation's top instructors and experts in the areas of A&A, tax and management to the comfort of member' offices. Our online programs provide firms with cost-effective, high-quality training options to earn CPE credit, with less billable downtime and travel costs. All courses are approved by NASBA's National Registry of CPE sponsors.

Viewing these webcasts in a group setting at member firms enables participants to join a discussion afterwards to supplement what was learned for an even greater value. The outside consultants instructing our webcasts normally charge $4,000 to $7,000 per day, plus travel, so participating in webcasts saves firms additional money.

Free Loan Library

CPAConnect's Free Loan Library contains more than 600 hours of CPE credit available free to members. Approximately 120 video, audio and text courses in A&A, Management and Advisory Skills, Marketing, Specialized Knowledge Applications and Tax are available. Also available are nontechnical courses, including tapes on phone skills, business writing and supervisory skills.

CPAConnect updates courses annually and adds courses to the Free Loan Library based on member requests and an annual survey.
