CPAmerica Sponsorship
CPAConnect affords small independent practitioners the opportunity to tap into a much broader and more powerful array of services and products available through a relationship with a CPAmerica International sponsor firm. The sponsor firm relationship is optional for CPAConnect members.
A noncompete agreement or joint engagement between the CPAConnect firm and the sponsor firm demonstrates the foundation of trust that exists with CPAConnect membership. With CPAConnect, a firm can expand client service opportunities, enhance its practice value and extend its leverage while retaining its clients.
Through the CPAmerica sponsor, CPAConnect members gain numerous opportunities to expand their firm's resources:
- Second opinions on engagement concerns
- Better positioning to compete with larger firms and to protect and expand client base
- Practice continuation agreement, protecting the value of a practice in the event of untimely death or disability
- Advice on practice management and growth-related issues
- Cooperation in managing seasonality through per-diem work arrangements during heavy load periods
- Focus on changes in taxes, technology, GAAP and GAAS
The sponsor relationship has demonstrated to be a win/win relationship for both the CPAConnect and CPAmerica sponsor firm.
