Baum, Smith & Clemens Awards Travis Bechtel Scholarship
August 5, 2020 (Harleysville, PA) – Baum, Smith & Clemens, LLP the Harleysville based accounting and
business advisory firm is pleased to announce this year’s winner of the Travis Bechtel Scholarship.
The scholarship is named in honor of a former employee of Baum, Smith, & Clemens who died at
a young age while working for the firm. It is awarded to a graduating senior of Dock Mennonite
Academy, chosen by the school, who has excelled in academics, sports and business. Braden
Landis, a 2020 graduate of Dock Mennonite Academy is this year’s recipient of the scholarship.
He is the son of Scott and Charla Landis. While at Dock, Braden was a member of the soccer and
volleyball teams, choir, band and National Honor Society. He will be continuing his education at
Grove City College, majoring in Business Economics with a minor in Psychology.
