TRAVIS BECHTEL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED    

Harleysville, PA –Baum, Smith & Clemens, LLP, the Harleysville-based accounting and business advisory firm, is pleased to announce this year’s winner of the Travis Bechtel Scholarship.  The scholarship is named in honor of a former employee of Baum, Smith, & Clemens who died at a young age while working for the firm.  It is awarded to a graduating senior of Dock Mennonite Academy, chosen by the school, who has excelled in academics, sports and business.  Brody Moyer, a 2019 graduate of Dock Mennonite Academy is this year’s recipient of the scholarship.  He is the son of Chris Moyer and Chari Buongiovanni.  While at Dock, Brody was a member of the baseball, basketball and golf teams and Communications Secretary for the National Honor Society.  He will be continuing his education at The University of North Carolina majoring in Accounting with a Finance minor.
