Frankel Zacharia Promotes Seven

Frankel Zacharia, LLC, promotes Shari Munro CPA to Director; Andrew Marsh CPA to Manager; Will Smith CPA, Scott Weaver CPA and Brent Smith CPA to Supervisor; and Mitch Hagen CPA and Brandy Ritz to Senior.

Munro has been employed with Frankel Zacharia for 25 years. A graduate from the University of Nebraska Omaha, Munro has a variety of experiences in various industries including retail, wholesale distribution, construction, governmental and not-for-profit, as well as playing a large role in the Firm's Peer Review Services. She is involved in various organizations and serves on the Board of Directors for both Nebraska Society of CPAs and the UNO Alumni Association. Munro is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

Marsh graduated from the University of Kansas with his BSBA in Accounting. He has eight years' public accounting experience, joining Frankel Zacharia in 2015. Marsh provides financial reporting and tax services to individuals and closely held businesses. He specializes in the Firm's distribution, manufacturing, construction, real estate and ERISA-related benefit plan practice areas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

W. Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with his BSBA. He has been with Frankel Zacharia since 2014. Smith has experience working with a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, and not-for-profit; providing audit, accounting, and tax services. He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

Weaver graduated from the University of Nebraska Omaha with his BSBA in Accounting and Finance. He has been with Frankel Zacharia since 2015, after completing multiple internships with the Firm. Weaver specializes in the Firm's audit and accounting practice in industries including construction, distribution, manufacturing and real estate. He also specializes in start-up companies and ERISA-related benefit plan practice areas. Weaver is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

B. Smith graduated from York College with his BBA. He joined Frankel Zacharia in 2017 with six years of public accounting experience. He works in all areas of tax for individuals and businesses, specializing in flow-through entity taxation. Smith works in a variety of industries including real estate, construction, and distribution. Smith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

Hagen graduated from Creighton University with his BSBA in Accounting and Financial Analysis. He joined Frankel Zacharia full time in 2016 after completing multiple internships with the Firm. He has experience working in a variety of industries providing tax, audit, and accounting services. Hagen is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants (NESCPA).

Ritz graduated from Chadron State with her BSBA in Accounting, and from University of Phoenix with her MSA. She joined Frankel Zacharia in 2017 and has four years of public accounting experience. Ritz focuses primarily on tax services performing compliance work on tax return preparation. She has experience in a variety of industries including not-for-profits, real estate, and retail. Ritz is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
