Kassouf & Co., P.C. Financial Planner Michelle G. Carney, CFP® was recently honored with the 2018 Jack Davis Professional Achievement Award from The University of Alabama College of Human Environmental Sciences.

Carney graduated from The University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both accounting and consumer sciences with a concentration in financial planning. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner (CFP®), an active member and past president of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama, and current president of the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham. She also served on the National Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association.

Carney has worked for Kassouf & Co., P.C. for eighteen years, providing clients with financial planning needs including estate planning, insurance and education planning, retirement planning, and investment advising.

The Jack Davis Professional Achievement Award is presented annually to distinguished alumni for their exceptional professional accomplishments. Named after Dr. Lewis Clifton “Jack” Davis, Jr., the award has been given to deserving recipients since 1986. Davis was the first man to graduate with a degree in nutrition from the College of Human Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama.
