Christopher Soderberg, Senior Associate

Chris has been a valued member of the Audit department of Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. since 2018. He primarily focuses on Not-for-Profit, commercial, taxation, and HUD engagements. His approach to customer service is to work hand in hand with the client and audit team to ensure that the audit process is performed effectively and efficiently. He says, “Communication is key when working with a client, and being on a first-name basis with all levels of an organization is very important.”

In his new role as a Senior Associate, Chris will take on a larger leadership position at the firm. He states that “creating an approachable environment is beyond important to my team’s success. When a team knows their leader is empathetic and approachable, it creates a learning environment where staff can thrive.”

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounts and Management, as well as a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in financial planning from Elms College. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ian Coddington, Senior Associate

Ian is a licensed certified public accountant in Massachusetts who has been working in the firm’s Audit department since 2018. His work is predominantly focused on Review & Compilation, Commercial, Not-for-Profit, Employee Benefit Plans, and Business Valuation. When asked about his approach to customer service, Ian states, “I take the time to find out customer’s expectations, maintain a positive attitude, and respond quickly to communications.”

Ian is excited to grow as an advisor, while also proving the help and guidance needed for the next generation of business leaders.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration from Westfield State University, and a Master in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Briana Doyle, Senior Associate

Briana started working at Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. in 2018. As a member of the firm’s Audit department, she works on Employee Benefit Plans, Not-for-Profits, HUD, and Commercial engagements. She prides herself in providing exceptional customer service to clients. She states, “I always make it a priority to be available for questions and be responsive by offering solutions to help our clients organizations succeed.”

Briana shares, “In my new role as Senior Associate, I am excited to take on additional responsibilities such as the in-charge on audit engagements. While stepping into the in-charge role, I have had the opportunity to create relationships with my clients, and I look forward to building on those and becoming a resource to them. I also hope to take the knowledge I have gained over the last three years and pass it on to newer staff, to help them learn and develop as professionals.”

Briana holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration and Master of Science, Accounting from Nichols College. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Daniel Eger, Tax Supervisor

Dan has been with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK) since 2005, working primarily with large companies and corporations as well as with high net-worth individuals. He has over 20 years of accounting experience handling many of the most complicated tax-preparations in these areas, including multi-state tax-preparation. His extensive experience makes him a valuable resource to clients for technical and operational support. Dan leads the tax intern program at MBK which has resulted in numerous hires in the firm. He states, “I am excited to jump into a leadership position at the firm and help others grow and succeed. Mentorship is so important, because individual success benefits not only the individual, but also our clients who are the cornerstone of everything that we do.” Dan holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting from American International College. Dan is member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Brenden Cawley, Tax Supervisor

Brendan joined MBK in 2020 and prior to that he spent eight years as a tax professional at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Boston, Massachusetts. He provided tax and consulting services for large investment companies with a focus in private equity and credit funds. Brenden takes a very personal approach to client service and states, “My approach to client service focuses on planning each engagement to meet a client’s asks in a timely and painless manner. I want every client to feel heard after each meeting. Regular touchpoints are a necessity.”

Brendan received a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Boston College. He is an enrolled agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Brenden is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Corey Jenkins, Manager

Corey joined Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. in 2019 after spending five years as a public accountant in New York. She is a leader within our NFP division, working primarily on audits of Not-for-Profit organizations and multifamily housing entities.

Corey is excited to take on a larger leadership role at the firm and shares, “In my new position as manager here at MBK, I’m most excited to mentor and train the next generation of auditors coming up behind me. My favorite part of my role as an experienced staff member is watching others that I have trained succeed, and being a manager will provide more opportunities for that.”

Corey received her Master of Science in Accounting from the University at Albany and her Bachelor of Science from The College of Saint Rose in Albany. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and is a certified public accountant in the states of Massachusetts and New York. She is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Chelsea Russell, Manager

Chelsea began her career with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. as an intern in 2015 and has been working full time in the Accounting and Audit Department since June 2016. In her role as Manager, Chelsea is a key player in the Accounting and Auditing department and primarily focuses on Not-for-Profit, Commercial, and Employee Benefit Plan engagements. Chelsea states that her approach to client service is rather simple, “it’s about being a resource to clients even when it’s not about the numbers. I’m personally interested in client operations but also interested in getting to know clients on a personal level.”

In her new role as manager, Chelsea states, “I’m excited to be part of the next generation of leadership at MBK. I’m looking forward to assisting with growing the firm, continuing to provide resources to our clients, and continuing to make an impact in the communities we serve.”

She received a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Westfield State University and her Master of Science in accounting from Bay Path University. Chelsea is licensed as a certified public accountant in Massachusetts. Chelsea is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MassCPA’s) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She also co-leads the firm’s community outreach program.

Eric Pinsoneault, Manager

Eric joined Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. (MBK) in 2018. Prior to joining MBK, Eric worked in public accounting in the greater Boston area for BDO USA, LLP. Eric has experience providing audit and attest services for a variety of industries including technology, manufacturing, transportation, and energy. He currently works closely with many privately held businesses in western Massachusetts. Eric states, “My approach to client service always starts with listening. When we listen first, we recognize our client’s goals up front and gain an understanding of what challenges they are facing, and what opportunities they are pursuing. That puts us in the best position possible to pull from our experience with other clients, and our understanding of best practice to help them succeed.”

Eric received a Master in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Eric is a certified public accountant in the state of Massachusetts and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA).

Kara Graves, Senior Manager

Kara is a licensed certified public accountant in Massachusetts and has been with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. since 2011.

“I strive to be a trusted advisor for my clients. I want my clients to feel like they are my top priority and that begins with being available and responsive. I’ve had many clients for close to 10 years, and when I go to their offices, I feel like one of them. I value the relationships that I have nurtured with them over the years,” she reflected.

She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Roger Williams University and a Master of Accountancy from Western New England University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and CPAmerica. Kara serves on the audit committee for the United Way of Hampshire County. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, Pure Barre and spending time with friends and family. Graves resides in Florence with her boyfriend, Girard, and son, Jakaiah.

Matthew Nash, Senior Manager

Matt has been with Meyers Brothers Kalicka, P.C. since 2011 and focuses on audit, review and compilation engagements. He is a key leader on the Commercial, Not-for-Profit Audit, and Pension engagement teams. Matt is presently a senior manager leading engagement teams on a day-to-day basis, working directly with clients ensuring the approach is accomplished in an efficient manner.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nichols College and a Master of Business Administration from Elms College. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and has been a certified public accountant in Massachusetts for the past three years. Matt is a board member and Treasurer for Springfield School Volunteers where he also serves on the investment and finance committee. He is also a Ronald McDonald House Golf Tournament committee member.
