Stephano Slack Builds Accounting and Auditing Practice with New Hire
WAYNE, PA – JANUARY 27, 2020 – Stephano Slack, LLC, a leading regional accounting and consulting firm, has hired James Forgione, CPA as a Partner in the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Department, effective January 2, 2020. He has a blend of national and regional firm experience and a deep client service focus.

Based in the Wayne, PA office, Forgione is responsible for leading audit engagements while coaching and mentoring staff. His role also includes business development, working to continue the firm’s top-line growth trajectory. He brings experience in several key Stephano industries including manufacturing, distribution, financial services and non-profits.

Forgione has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of audit, accounting, financial management, operational analysis and internal controls. Most recently, he led the Accounting and Auditing Department of Siana Carr O’Connor & Lynam in Paoli, Pennsylvania. Previously he was Director of Assurance for BDO USA, LLP and held senior positions in audit and tax departments at regional Pennsylvania firms.
Forgione provides leadership on the board of the Brian Forgione Foundation, helping support cancer patients through scholarships for higher education and opportunities for athletics, partnering with Coaches Vs. Cancer and the Make a Wish Foundation. He is also involved on the advisory board of The 1912 Club and is active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College.
