Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs Congratulates Ying Wang on Being Named One of the Tallahassee Democrat’s “25 Women You Need to Know”

March 11, 2021 – Tallahassee, FL - Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs, a professional accounting, assurance, tax, and governmental consulting services firm, headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, congratulates Ying Wang on being selected as one of the 2021 “25 Women You Need to Know,” by the Tallahassee Democrat.

Each year, the Tallahassee Democrat seeks to recognize the 25 women in the city of Tallahassee and the surrounding area. The outstanding women on the list have achieved great success in their businesses or professions and have contributed to the greater good of the community.

Ying received her bachelor’s degree from Sichuan University before attending Georgia State University for her double master’s degrees in professional accounting and taxation. She is involved in both the Tallahassee community and the accounting profession. Ying is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

Ying is a notable leader in the community.  She currently serves as a board member for Girls on the Run Panhandle and is a member of Leadership Tallahassee Class 36. Formerly, she was the President of the Tallahassee Regional Estate Planning Council, President of the Tallahassee Rugao Sister City, Treasurer of the North American Butterfly Association’s North Florida Hairstreak Chapter, and Board Member of the Asian Coalition of Tallahassee. Ying also served as a volunteer interpreter for a Tallahassee Delegate’s trip to China in 2012. Additionally, she is a graduate of Opportunity Tallahassee. 

Ying has over 17 years of public accounting experience working in areas of retail, manufacturing, health care, auto dealerships, and professional services. At THF, Ying is a Senior Manager in the Tax Services Department.
