The Young CPA Network is a group designed to help young
MSCPA members establish connections with other aspiring professionals, exchange
ideas and grow in their careers. Their first meeting for the 2019-2020 service
year was held in July. Social events allow young members to connect with peers
in a variety of ways throughout the year. The group also hosts an annual
conference with continuing education credits. The Network actively promotes the
CPA profession among accounting students.
“Volunteering my time comes from a love of the accounting
profession, but the collaboration of all generations of CPAs offering a day of
service each year is an annual highlight. The value I’ve found will be offered
to all interested young CPAs. I am especially thrilled with the unprecedented
committee-level involvement for the coming year,” said Adams.
